Finding people who believe in you and your purpose can be quite tasking. It’s like an ultimate search which could take a long time. There is a breathe of fresh air when you find such people who keep pushing you to achieve your potentials. More so, in our world and time where fake friends and ingenuity has become the order of the day, most of us have become so scared that we fail to appreciate real friends when we should. We always allow past hurts and “situationships” to define our present relationships and friendships. We have gotten so ahead of ourselves in this generation and always geared up with every guard possible just so we don’t get hurt and end up devastated.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t prepare for these things because whether we like it or not, it happens. Humans will always be humans, so slimy and unpredictable. My take is whatever situation you find yourself, enjoy and absorb every second of it. If it’s love, love hard! If it’s laughter, laugh hard! If it’s smile, smile hard! If it’s cry, cry hard! There is nothing guaranteed in this life and at the end of the day it’s all vanity. Love God to the best of your ability and show same love to others, it doesn’t remove a strand of hair on your back to be kind. Don’t shield your feelings and emotions just because you don’t want to get hurt, let yourself go and if at the end of the day it doesn’t work out, you pick yourself up and move on. Experience makes you stronger and better and at the end of it, you will say to yourself that you gave it a try and you came out a better person after surpassing the challenges. After all, if you don’t try, you will never know.
Self discovery is simply finding your worth, what you’re made up of and it usually comes with a lot of disappointments, struggles, bad choices, bad experiences and memories. That’s what makes it a discovery, you search deep before you are able to get what you want at the end of the day. One statement I have always tried to live by is “Every problem has a solution, although it may not be the outcome that was originally hoped for or expected.” Sometimes you find your purpose in those bad choices and disappointments. Don’t feel bad or less of yourself just because your life took a wrong turn. There are people praying to be in your shoes and probably have the life you have, so why aren’t you grateful for every step or phase you have passed through?
The art of calmness in the midst of the storm requires bravery and mastery, it also helps to preserve your energy and keeps you positive minded. I am of the belief that there must be a silver lining in every situation, focus on the good and surround yourself with positive energy in that situation. Keep the hope alive and always stay cheerful.
It’s nice to know you now write.
Keep it up 💪

I love this line of thought but I would like to believe that there can be a better way of gaining experience while not necessarily going through all the bad experiences ,choices and discoveries. This is simply by learning from others mistakes so that we can make informed decisions about our own lives and not necessarily try before knowing.Keep up the work.Kudos dear.
