The Time Factor

Hi Trybee, how are you all doing? How are your plans coming along? Remember that incredible change happens in your life when you choose to take control of what you have power over instead of craving control of what you don’t, live in the present. I am really glad I am able to publish this post, one thing I keep reminding myself and want to remind you also is that no matter how difficult it gets, giving up is not an option.

Time has an important role to play in life’s trajectory. It is essential that we all try to get it right. Having said that, working properly with time and using your time wisely is pertinent. If time is not used or managed properly, it can be a big problem. Proper time management skill is needed in order to maintain a good work and life balance.

Time management is the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent on specific activities to work smarter. It simply means how you juggle different things that helps you increase efficiency. How well are you making use of your time? Do not make the mistake of putting off what could be done today till tomorrow. Time management is not only a behavioural skill, it is also a cognitive skill. Your thinking and mindset plays a paramount role in determining your results, you have to know how to cope with setbacks, it will help you bounce back quickly and reduce the time lost when things go wrong. Even those who manage their time wisely realise that there is always room for improvement. Hence, we can all come to a conclusion that time management plays a crucial role in human life.

Here are few quotes to further stress the importance or value of time management.

“Time is not the main thing, it is the only thing.” – Miles David

“Productivity is never an accident, it is always the result of commitment to excellence, intelligent planning and focused effort.” – Paul J. Meyer

” What gets measured, gets managed.” – Unknown

Here are tips that can help you check how to use your time in whatever area or environment you find yourself:

 ●  In my opinion, the first and most important is knowing what needs to be done which aids you in setting clear goals. Make clear decisions on what actions or tasks need to be done. It helps you understand what needs to be prioritized.

 ● Get organized! After knowing and taking a decision on an action to take, you have to get organized. Organize your task into manageable categories in order to make it easier to handle.

● Develop strong communication skills. This point is underrated and most often than not omitted. Knowing how to communicate effectively makes your plans and goals clearer, it is advisable you have a team, discuss strategy and plans to achieve your goals. This is done effectively when you have strong communication skills.

● Learn to say NO. Keep your priorities straight and simple, if something or a task is not serving you, it is okay, I repeat, very okay to say No!

 ● Set up realistic deadlines. Setting up deadlines and working with it helps you manage time. Reward yourself for meeting or even completing a difficult challenge, celebrate your wins and victories whether big or small.

I want to however state that you should allow yourself to take a break, go off the grid when necessary. Take breaks, go on vacations and retreats when you feel overwhelmed. Always bear in mind that the major aim is productivity.

Thank you for taking out time to read and meditate on this life changing piece. I am happy to publish my 9th blog post, cheers to all of us on this ride. I know it will get better and I pray we see the days we dream of. Do not forget I am always rooting for you. Let the journey to the 10th begin!!! ❤️❤️❤️
